Pastor Dave is a graduate of California Graduate School of Theology (MA and D. Min). He pastored the First Baptist Church of Lake Isabella for almost 20 years before retiring to the Paradise area. He brings wisdom, mirth and a serious commitment to running and finishing the race at full speed! He and his wife Linda have lived in Paradise for eight years.  They have four children, Christopher, Todd, Jerilyn and Stephanie, and four grandchildren and one great grandson.

Church Administrator, Brad Wells

Mr Wells directs the day to day functions of the church during this interim time as we seek a full time Senior Pastor.  He also oversees Cornerstone Christian School which operates on the church campus.

Youth & Music Director:  William Jones

One of our elders, William Jones is both Youth and Music director for FBCP.  William's wife, Babs works with our children on Wendesday evenings and Sunday mornings leading and directing children's ministry and musicals.  The youth program, Jr. High through college is directed by William along with other volunteer staff on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM and Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Among their service projects, the youth serve several times a year at the Jesus Center in Chico.  Each month join youth groups in other churches for worship and activities.

 Cornerstone Christian School:  Robin Tygart, Principal

FBCParadise hosts Cornerstone Christian School (Grades K-5) which uses A Beka curriculum and offers a Christ-centered, Bible-based educational alternative to public school.  Brad Wells, member of the church Elder Board is the Administrator and Robin Tygart the Principal and Lead Teacher.
